Thank you Vios nation for sharing your stories on the extraordinary benefits of our products. It is so great to hear the weight loss stories, fabulous blood test results, more energy, less joint pain, better muscle tone, shinier hair, longer nails, better skin and the list goes on. These results are so empowering. Thank you.
With so many benefits of our products, it is hard to focus on just one. But I will try, because I think it is important to understand the WHY of some of these benefits.
Let’s talk about MUSCLE TONE. As summer approaches and we are wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts and yes, bathing suits we all tend to scrutinize our own bodies and desire to have toned muscles and less flabby skin. I myself have noticed that taking my PHYTE every day now for a year, my muscle tone is better than it has ever been.
What in PHYTE and Matrix Improves Muscle Tone?
IRON & MAGNESIUM
Greens like spinach, wheat grass, chlorella, and barley grass contain iron and magnesium. Iron and magnesium help your body circulate oxygen to your muscles. This enhances blood flow, aids in muscle repair after exercise and encourages the synthesis of the muscle fibers that gives them that defined look.
COMPLEX CARBS
Grains, like quinoa and millet help restore glycogen to muscle cells and provide resistant starches that burn fat to create a lean, toned look. The grains and seeds in Matrix provide protein, fiber, B vitamins, amino acids, potassium and magnesium. All of these factors improve muscle tone, strength, and overall lean body mass while also keeping you full and healthy.
AMINO ACIDS
Amino acids are found abundantly in hemp seeds, peas, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, beans, legumes, flax seeds, chia seeds, spinach, kale and spirulina. Eating such plant protein foods, rich in these essential amino acids, will naturally give your body the nutrients it needs to help improve muscle tone.
VITAMIN C
Vitamin C is a building block of collagen and elastin synthesis, responsible for the health of the blood vessels, which support the muscles’ need for oxygen and nutrients. The more vitamin C your body has, the more effective your muscles will work and the quicker they will recover during exercise. This will help them to grow stronger and improve muscle tone.
CALCIUM
Calcium is very important for strong, healthy bones and muscles. Research shows it is more likely your body can use calcium correctly if it’s plant-derived calcium. Every time you lift a dumbbell, your muscle contracts…calcium gives muscles that cue to contract—and, therefore, grow. Spirulina has 26X the calcium in milk and the vitamin K also found in PHYTE helps the body absorb calcium and assists in the regulation of blood flow.
What Else Can You Do to Improve Muscle Tone?
Give up the Sugar – Sugar does absolutely nothing for your muscles when it comes from refined sources. Sugar spikes your blood sugar which causes insulin surges that end up storing fat instead of burning it.
Reduce Processed Foods – Foods like breads, crackers, chips, cookies, and other highly processed snacks often offer no nutritional value and may contain fillers, artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils and excess sugars. Clean food is best when it comes to healthy muscles.
Take Matrix with you for after Your Workout – Taking in protein after you work out is important to refuel glycogen stored in the muscles cells. Matrix provides branch chain amino acids (BCAA’s) to the muscle cells, which they need for repair and regrowth as well.
Get Moving – Yoga, cardio, weight training, walking, cycling. Whatever your preference, don’t forget to move those muscles to obtain optimum muscle tone.
To see results…make good clean choices when you’re trying to improve your health, muscles, overall body strength and vitality.
